The Annual July 4th Freedom Festival (July 4, 2023)
The annual July 4th Freedom Festival in Castle Hills is a free event full of different games, live music, and a fantastic fireworks show. Kicking off at 5:30 pm, the Freedom Festival occupies the Castle Hills Village Shops and Lake Avalon in the Castle Hills master-planned community. Grab your blanket and chairs and get ready to have lots of fun.
Gratzi, Burning Sky Band, The BandulusThis year there is no street parking available near the event. Castle Hills residents who live near The Village Shops are encouraged to walk or bike if possible. There will be two free air-conditioned shuttle options.
Shuttles start at 4:00 p.m. and will run until 11:00 p.m. Free shuttles and parking will be available at Hebron High School and Killian Middle School.

Food:
Festivalgoers will have no shortage of food options including Castle Hills’ own The Grind Burger Bar, T.B.D. Kitchen, Hills Café and El Patio Mex Tex. Additionally, popular food trucks that will be on site include: El Chifrijo Puerto Rican Fusion, F&F Express Food Truck, Cajun Food on the Go!, Groovy Chicken & Waffles, FryDay Concessions, SnowBaby Shaved Ice, The Corndog Company, DTX, and Favor Flavor.
